Prepare a partner deal-registration review packet with AI
Organize partner-program requirements, opportunity evidence and open ownership questions before an authorized registration.
A promising partner opportunity is not automatically eligible or registered.
Editorial workflow guide · AI-assisted preparation · Not a hands-on product test. How we work
Identify the actual partner program
Channel rules differ across vendors and programs. Start with the current official registration instructions for the specific program, your approved opportunity record and the partner manager’s guidance. Record the program name, instruction URL, reviewed date and intended registration path. Do not combine requirements from several programs into a universal checklist.
Microsoft Partner Center, for example, documents distinct co-sell and ISV Connect registration paths with eligibility and validation rules. That illustrates why a generic partner lead is not enough. Ask AI to extract the requirements from the supplied program material, leaving applicability questions for the partner owner. This task does not grant program access or determine eligibility.

Map each requirement to approved evidence
Use requirement, source, candidate evidence, record version, responsible reviewer and unresolved question. Keep customer consent or information-sharing requirements visible where the actual program specifies them. Use approved metadata rather than uploading full contracts or sensitive buyer records when the review only needs to confirm that evidence exists.
In a fictional software partnership, sales notes may say that a joint pursuit is underway while the official record has no confirmation from the other partner. The packet should show the missing evidence. It cannot declare the opportunity accepted, promise exclusive account protection or attribute a commitment to a vendor seller who has not made it. A referral and an approved registration remain different states.
Resolve conflicts through the program owner
Ask the channel manager to check account identity, relevant solution, participating parties and timing under the actual current rules. If another partner appears associated with the opportunity, record the conflict for the official process rather than recommending a way around it. Keep commercial promises and revenue allocation outside the drafting task.
The authorized owner decides whether to submit, which information can be shared and which portal action is appropriate. Record the actual returned status and requests for further evidence after submission. A prepared packet is not proof of acceptance. Test the format with fictional opportunities that are missing a requirement, contain conflicting partner notes or fall under the wrong program, and verify that the assistant leaves each unresolved.
Review checklist
- Use one current named program and registration path.
- Cite requirements and preserve applicability questions.
- Map approved evidence without exposing unnecessary sensitive files.
- Keep referral, submission and approval states distinct.
- Require the program owner to handle any actual registration.

Microsoft documents program-specific registration and review paths. The evidence packet is our editorial preparation method, not a universal eligibility checklist, partner endorsement or registration performed on a reader’s behalf.
A prompt to adapt
Build an internal registration review from these supplied program rules and fictional opportunity metadata. Return requirement/source, evidence, gap, reviewer and status. Do not assert eligibility, exclusivity or partner acceptance. Do not submit forms, accept terms or disclose customer documents.
